| In 2009 the two Lowline-sired
steers shown above won Lightweight, Heavyweight and Supreme Champion Led
Steer Carcase classes at the Royal Queensland Show. The steers were entered by Vitulus Lowline Stud.It
was the first time ever that one breed, or one breeder, had achieved this
at the Ekka. Both Australian Lowline-sired steers had perfect fat scores and
maximum marbling points. The Lightweight steer (396 kg) produced an EMA of
83, dressing percentage of 57.6%, yield percentage of 64% and won the MSA
Eating Quality Award for his class. The Heavyweight steer (530 kg) had an
